Melville House at the American Library Association Midwinter Conference

by

A little snow couldn’t damper the spirits of librarians and Melville House staff  who attended the American Library Association Midwinter conference in Philadelphia last weekend. If you were there, you might have seen Claire Kelley, Director of Library and Academic Marketing and Julia Fleishaker, Director of Publicity in the booth, and Publisher Dennis Johnson was there on Friday for the opening reception.

Four Melville House authors also braved the weather to make it for signings, panels, and readings, including Rachel Cantor, author of A Highly Unlikely Scenario, Scott Wiener, author of Viva la Pizza!, Frank Lentricchia, author of The Dog Killer of Utica, and Jeremy Bushnell, author of The Weirdness.

The real highlight was meeting all of the librarians who stopped by our booth! Check our library schedule for the Melville House events at the Public Library Association and the Melville House Library Preview in Seattle on February 26th (invitation here).

Claire Kelley is the Director of Library and Academic Marketing at Melville House.
