A Julian Assange even your kids will love

by

Who is Julian Assange? Is he a spy? Is he a rapist? Is he a good house guest? Is he a bonafide hero for free speech and government transparency? All of the above?

Well, if nothing else, we can now call the most famous/infamous hacker in the world a…coloring book star? Yes, it’s true. Via Galleycat, yesterday we learned that the Julian Assange Coloring Book website is live now and anyone who is interested can visit, color the lanky, silver-haired Assange any way you want, save and then send your own portrait of him far and wide over the internet.

There are several choice poses to choose from.

There’s the “Che Assange:”

Or there’s the “thoughtful:”

My personal favorite, “What Julian got for Christmas:”

And then there’s the favorite of governments the world over, “Julian gagged:”

No word as to when the website will publish a printed version. But if they’ve been paying attention, they will have noticed that there is currently a publishing bonanza going on for books by or about Assange. If the market is not saturated yet, surely there’s some space for a Julian Assange coloring book.
