Apply here, all ye of little to no ambition

It’s National Write a Novel Month, a yearly affair designed to encourage all those who think they might have books in them to write 50,000 words of a novel in a month. Fancy it? You can join professionals and amateurs around the world here. Prizes include a certificate for all those who manage to upload their work by November 31st and a sense of achievement. Don’t expect to see any towering works of genius coming out of this project, however; the FAQs give the following advice for wannabe writers: “Aiming low is the best way to succeed. With entry-level novel writing, shooting for the moon is the surest way to get nowhere.”
