We’ve just released the new summer novel The Lake by Japanese sensation Banana Yoshimoto and we’re having a “Book Blogger Hop” for literary book bloggers who are interested in the novel. If you have a book blog and like Japanese literature, we invite you to help us out with our experiment.

Here’s how you can participate and win free books.

1. Over the weekend, answer these questions on your blog.

“What’s the most unusual love story you’ve ever read?”

“What’s your favorite novel from another country?”

“Why would you be interested in winning a copy of Banana Yoshimoto’s The Lake?”

2. Include the book’s cover in your post.

3. Add the link to your blog post below (click on the little blue monster!) so everyone knows you’re participating and can link to your responses.

On Tuesday we’ll have a drawing and give away 5 free copies of The Lake to anyone who participated.
