James Frey: Turned down Bush's request to pen memoir called "A Million Little Decision Points"

“One day after publisher Random House signed former President George W. Bush to write a presidential memoir entitled Decision Points, Mr. Bush announced that he had tapped former Vice President Dick Cheney to write the memoir for him,” according to a Borowitz Report report by Andy Borowitz. He quotes Bush as saying, “This book will detail the twelve greatest decisions I’ve made in my life. The thirteenth greatest decision was hiring Dick Cheney to write about the other twelve.”

Borowitz reports that according to his sources, Cheney was not Bush’s first choice to be his ghostwriter, however. Borowitz says Bush’s first choice was author James Frey because Bush “likes the way he makes things up.”
