Doctorow-mania expected by Random . . .

by

Two new books by E. L. Doctorow are planned to follow the expected success of The March, Doctorow’s forthcoming novel about the civil war, according to a Random House press release. The March — not to be confused with Geraldine BrooksMarch: Novel — is set to be released in September. The first of the planned volumes is a collection of the author’s essays that will appear in Fall 2006, to coincide with the paperback edition of The March.
