It’s a much better business.” So says Michael Seidenberg, the proprietor of Brazen Head Books, in this wonderful video about his underground bookstore The Brazen Head is a by-appointment-only bookstore housed at a secret residential apartment. Brazen Head has had multiple locations over the decades, including in Brooklyn and on East Eighty-fourth St., but when Seidenberg had difficulty meeting the rent he moved it into its current home in a tiny three-bedroom apartment.
