Jessa Crispin returns to Chicago

by

Clearly, Chicago is an enlightened city. What other city gets so happy when a book blogger comes to town that it makes the TV news? Okay, so it is Jessa Crispin, of Bookslut fame, who helped put the city on the chic-lit map, but still …. I mean, MobyLives has to leave town to generate such euphoria. In any event, we take solace from the fact that when Crispin appeared on Chicago Tonight, they asked her to recommend things to read and things not to read. Lucky for Melville House, our forthcoming Wolf Among Wolves by Hans Fallada made the better list ….

Dennis Johnson is the founder of MobyLives, and the co-founder and co-publisher of Melville House.
