More covers for the iPad I don’t have
by Melville House
It seems like everyone is jumping into the iPad cover game. (What, does no one want to show off that they actually have one? If it were me, I wouldn’t hide my new toy away. I’d want to make people on the subway jealous!) Regardless of my preference for in-your-face eltitism, iPad owners can dress it up and take it out, disguise it as a used book or even as a Moleskine–in fact, I’m sure someone out there has made some sort of scuba, underwater protective case. I just haven’t found it yet.
But the newest and latest comes out of Eastern Europe’s trendiest country… no, don’t say Latvia. Estonia! Tallinn-based company “Portel” has recently introduced a hardy (and fashionable!) iPad cover, made out of felt, brass bolts, and leather. What’s not to love? It even has a nice strap so that you can tote it around like a purse (or a man-purse, for all the gentleman iPad lovers). Sign me up! Just one question, though:
Do they even have iPads in Estonia?
