New edible cookbook bakes into a lasagne

by

German design firm Korefe has designed a special edition item that gives new, and very literal, meaning to the word cookbook. Made entirely of fresh pasta, The Real Cookbook (Das Echte und Einzige Kochbuch in its original German) can be opened and read like any other cookbook. And once you’ve leafed through it and learned the recipes — hopefully taking care to write them down elsewhere, lest you forget anything once the pages are covered in cheese and tomato sauce–it can be filled with ingredients and baked into an authentic lasagne.

The special edition published by Gerstenberg Publishing House is certainly ingenious, and it looks great. Of course, the question is, how does it taste?
