Aurorarama author Jean-Christophe Valtat was a guest of honor at not one but two steampunk festivals over the last nine days. Jules Verne would be so jealous.

Today we have an interview Jean-Christophe gave to the podcasters at SciFi Saturday Night after he finished his keynote address on Jules Verne at the Watch City Steampunk Festival in Waltham, Massachusetts. In it he discusses the dueling legacies of Edgar Allan Poe and Jules Verne, as well as a bit concerning Philip K. Dick’s criticism of the science fiction genre.
