VIDEO: N+1 editor, novelist Keith Gessen among those arrested at OWS protests in NYC

by

As of this posting, (1:10 am Friday, November 18th) police in New York City have arrested 240 protestors in various locations downtown, among them N+1 founding editor and novelist Keith Gessen. You can view the actual arrest below. By all reports he’s still in custody, and according to an N+1 Twitter feed he’s been charged with “two counts of disorderly conduct, one charge of obstructing government administration.” What’s more, according to other reports, such as this one from former Gawker editor Emily Gould, he’s one of the few arrested so far who haven’t been released yet. Our best wishes to Keith and here’s hoping that he gets out safe and sound, and soon.
