Watch Wolf Haas read from The Bone Man at Politics and Prose

by

One way to be drawn completely into Austrian crime-writer Wolf Haas’s books is to hear him read in person. With a growl and a lean into the microphone, Haas brings life and humor to the distinctive and unique voice that leaps off the page in his Detective Brenner series. On his recent tour in the United States, Haas read from The Bone Man at Politics and Prose.

He also participated in a panel moderated by Sarah Weinman with Jessica Hagedorn (Akashic Books) and Zane Lovitt (Europa Editions) as part of International Crime Month  at the Center for Fiction (Part 1 | Part 2) and made an appearance at the American Library Association in Chicago (here he talks about visiting a library in Vienna).
