Winnie the Pooh house for sale
by Ellie Robins
If you’ve been wondering what to do with that $3.2m burning a hole in your pocket, you might consider investing in a piece of children’s literary history. A.A. Milne‘s former home is for sale — the very one in which his son Christopher Robin Milne grew up, inspiring Christopher Robin and his friends Winnie the Pooh et al. The 9.5-acre grounds that Cotchford Farm stands on was also the imaginative backdrop to the hundred-acre wood. You might be outbid by aging rockers, though: this was also the house at which Brian Jones of the Strolling Bones joined the 27 club.
