Banana Blog Hop Winners

by

Thanks to everyone who participated in the “Blog Hop” book giveaway for Banana Yoshimoto. For a chance to win book bloggers had to answer three questions on their book blogs. And the winners are…

1. Release Notes who cited Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier as her favorite foreign novel.

2. 100 Book Challenge whose blog’s tagline is “No one ever committed suicide while reading a good book…” and is trying to read 100 books in 1 year.

3. The Book Inn who wrote “I am also part Japanese , so anything Japanese is interesting to me!”

4. Magic Is In Words who was attracted to the Banana for Japan campaign in which portions of the novel’s proceeds go to help Japan Disaster Relief: “I think it’s awesome that this book is helping the victims in Japan….Spreading word about this book through the blogger world is a great way to help spread the word that Japan is still in need and that this is just one of many ways that we can help them.”

5. And Broad Conversation (in Oxford, England) who wrote that the most unusual love story she ever read was “Probably the love triangle between Toru, Naoko and Midori in Murukami’s Norwegian Wood” and knew that Yoshimoto’s “real name is Mahoko – without even Googling it.” Also, she pointed out, “Bananas are good for you.”

If you’re one of the winners write to [email protected] to claim your prize! And happy blogging.
