For the next month MobyLives will be observing the book industry holiday known as August. That means that while we will continue to post notice of ongoing contests, give-aways, new releases and the like — we’ve got at least one major announcement planned — the news and commentary team will be off gallivanting. We’ll all be back in September with an entirely new website (really! I was just kidding about the gallivanting stuff) and an all-new scary-cool MobyLives. Until then, we hope that you get a chance to take a little time off, like all those jitney-riders you work for, or at least work a little less, and get some rest, and have some fun, and especially, have some time to do what it’s all about: read, read, read.
