“I’d recommend the book for its insults alone.”

“I’d recommend the book for its insults alone,” writes Sam Jordison at The Guardian about Lars Iyer‘s novel Spurious.

The novel has been shortlisted for the not-very-prestigious Not-the-Booker Prize, a populist rival to the Man Booker Prize. An excerpt from the novel is available at The Guardian‘s website.

To celebrate, Melville House is offering the eBook of Spurious on its website for £2. Also known as $3.19.

Also, the first 100 people to buy the PRINT version of the novel from the website will receive an exclusive excerpt from the novel’s sequel, Dogma.
