Karl Rove starts new career as a novelist

by

Another member of the least popular presidential administration in American history is about to publish his plea to history: Karl Rove‘s Courage and Consequence: My Life as a Conservative in the Fight is due out next week, and copies are already leaking to the press. Or at least, the New York Times has been given its requisite early freebie and a post on the Caucus blog coughs up the shocking details: “For the most part, his book, ‘Courage and Consequence: My Life as a Conservative in the Fight,’ is an unapologetic defense of Mr. Bush and his presidency, and takes aim at Democrats, the news media and others for what he describes as hypocrisy, deceit and vanity.”

The real shocker: Bush really, really thought there were WMD in Iraq.
