Elizabeth Gilbert and the current love of her life

It seems only fair: Michael Cooper, the ex-husband of Elizabeth Gilbert — you know, the author of Eat, Pray, Love, the mega-mega-bestseller that’s soon to be a Julia Roberts movie, and which was about how Gilbert went on a soul-searching journey to recover from, er, her divorce from Cooper — has a book deal. According to a Publishers Weekly report by Rachel Deahl, Cooper has struck a deal with Hyperion to write a book about how he, er, went on a “search for purpose” … that leads him “through the Middle East and other developing countries” … all in an attempt to recover from his divorce from — oh, you know.
