Photographs of The Occupation

by

With the loomings of a new MobyLives in mind, we’re collecting photographs of the various occupations around the country right now. So we’re inviting you, the noble occupier, to submit photographs and short descriptions of them for a series of slide-shows for the website’s launch.

We’re looking for ten photographs, each from a different occupations along with short explanations (a hundred words or less) of what we’re looking at. If we choose your photograph, we’ll send you a copy of #OWS organizer David Graeber‘s brilliantly prescient Debt: The First 5,000 Years. After reading it yourself you can put it in your occupation’s library, or better still, use it to fend off the blows of tyrants. Really, it’s that substantive.

We’ll be looking for responses and submissions via the @melvillehouse hash tag on twitter or directly via the email.
