Snoop Dogg’s new book, up in smoke?

by

The Huffington Post points us to the video below of legendary rapper Snoop Dogg pitching his latest effort—Rolling Words, a book of his lyrics printed entirely on rolling paper.

According to the Huff Po:

The book includes pages of lyrics to some of Snoop’s older songs, including “Gin and Juice” and “Drop It Like It’s Hot.” Constructed mostly of hemp materials, the book even features a strike paper spine so that readers can light up whenever and wherever.”

Still, it remains uncertain if the songbook will be sold at all.

The venture is currently being used as promotion for Snoop’s Kingsize Slim Rolling Papers, Fuse reports. The books will be distributed to some Coachella festivalgoers later this month.

The book itself looks quite beautiful, and beautifully made—pages are made primarily of hemp and can be ripped out and used, and the spine is made of matchbox strike material. Clever.
