Brett Favre in his newest uniform

Hello sports fans!

For those of you who love football quarterback Brett Favre, and also for those of you who hate him, there’s a new book out just in time for the holidays — I Love/Hate Brett Favre, by conflicted Vikings fan Ross Bernstein. It’s a flip book in honor of its flip-flopping, prevaricating, and mind-changing subject.

And, according to this article by Joseph Oberle of the San Francisco Examiner, “Bernstein also does a nice job of retelling the whole retire, un-retire, trade, retire, un-retire and sign-with-Vikes saga… The book hits the highlights and lowlights of Favre’s now well-travelled and incredible career, and while it doesn’t claim to be the definitive biography of the future Hall of Fame signal caller, it is very exhaustive in compiling the list of players and people who are quoted.”

One side’s Love, the other Hate in this clever paperback. But it may need updating soon, as this story is still developing. Now that Favre has signed with the Vikings, Green Bay’s old nemesis, a lot more people just signed on to that love/hate thing.
